This morning I was invited to fish with my friend Capt. Jaimie in Diversey Harbor. I was throwing a hot-n-tot and within a few minutes hooked up into a very large fish that began taking a lot of line. It had to be a king or a nice steelhead, but after about ten minutes the beast came up to show itself...a northern pike! The fish was 40 inches and was released unharmed after a few pictures that I will be posting very soon.
The lake is beat up, but as soon as the winds dies there will be amazing action again. The season is over mid-November so last chance guys!
